Celestial Spectacle: Elgin County Invites You to Witness the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse

Elgin County invites residents and visitors alike to witness the breathtaking total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024—a rare celestial event where the moon passes between the Earth and the sun, creating a captivating spectacle. This will be the first total solar eclipse in Ontario since 1979, and the next one is not anticipated until 2099, making this event truly extraordinary.
